solid wood doors: how to install

1. Preparation of tools: a hammer, ruler, wood (brick) block, ropes, pencils, dedicated strong connections of solid wood doors.

2. Clear powder ash: Before installing solid wood door, remove the old powder or lime, leave the original brick wall or coagulation in exposure.

3. The decorative wood line of solid wood doors is cut to a proper length as required and the top corner should be cut to 45 degree; after it is adjusted, please smear glue on the back of decorative wood line;when the glue become dry, you can fix the decorative wood line to the wall, and note that the corner joint should be tight and firm.

4. The inserting line should be cut to a proper length as required, and covered with glue in the back, then inserted into wood door frame groove.

5.After all parts of solid wood door frame are bonded, fixed frimly, please install the door leaf; the position of door leaf will be adjusted according to the frame; conect the door leaf with door frame through hinges, maybe it's necessary to make hinge grooves.

6. install lock set to the solid wood door;

7. cut a keyhole in a corresponding frame of solid wood doors, in the same level with lock in the door leaf;

8. install lock boxes to solid wood doors.
